An interactive musical art installation using Arduino.
Wavelength
Wavelength is an interactive music art installation where musical beats and tones get played on sensing the user’s hand’s distance from the installation. The concept is simple, yet interesting, because it makes users feel the ‘power’ to control music just by gestures instead of learning and playing the actual instrument, and gives him/her access to listen to the tones of a large number of instruments, all in a single platform.

Features

Musical beats and tones get played on sensing the user’s hand’s distance from the installation using ultrasonic sensors. Background beats and different instruments have been added and can be changed according to users' will. One of the important parts of the installation is that the users don’t need any instrument or tool to interact with it, the hand’s movement in the air is enough, which again makes the installation interesting for them.
